Ceram Austria develops and produces high-performance ceramic products for emission control and heat storage. Manufactured at our Frauental, Austria site, our products are currently in use in over 2,100 reference plants worldwide and are technologically leading in their respective fields of application.

Our products are used worldwide in demanding environmental and energy applications. Annually, the catalysts and heat storage units produced in Frauental bind up to 125,000 tons of nitrogen oxides and save five million tons of CO₂.
Ceramic Honeycomb Catalysts
Our SCR honeycomb catalysts are precisely designed for the reduction of NOx, dioxins, and furans and are used in stationary plants, gas turbines, gas engines, marine engines, and mobile applications.
Plate Catalysts
With high dust tolerance and low pressure losses, our plate catalysts are particularly suitable for applications with high dust loads, such as in coal-fired power plants, and in the cement and glass industries.
Ceramic Heat Storage Units
Our ceramic heat storage units enable highly efficient heat recovery in RTOs, decentralized residential ventilation systems, and large thermal energy storage systems, with an efficiency of up to 97%.
